Planning Applications

Many domestic alterations, such as extensions, will require Planning Permission from the Local Authority. This should usually be obtained before you begin the construction works.

Your planning application must contain certain information to enable the Planning Authority determine whether your proposed works are both legal and acceptable to the immediate environment around your property.
